Evaluate and select HV equipment (switchgear, breakers, transformers, reactors, PTs, CTs, relays).
-
Serve as Electrical Engineer of Record for assigned projects.
-
Lead code compliance reviews (NEC, IEEE, NESC, NFPA) and provide internal technical guidance.
-
Collaborate with civil and structural engineers on substation layout and site design.
-
Support construction and commissioning teams with field engineering, testing, and troubleshooting.
-
Review vendor submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings for accuracy and compliance.

Independently manage HV design packages from concept through commissioning.
-
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external consultants on scope, schedule, and budget.
-
Prepare engineering cost estimates and schedules with project controls.
-
Lead design reviews, optimization workshops, and technical presentations.
-
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge development.
-
Develop workflows, templates, and design standards for HV systems.
-
Support strategic initiatives in grid integration, renewables, and energy storage.
