Job Title: CAD Project Administrator

Pay Range: $65,000 – $80,000 annually
Position Overview
We are seeking a CAD Project Administrator for a hybrid role that combines technical drafting with administrative and project coordination responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have strong civil/structural drafting skills, proficiency in AutoCAD, and the ability to support field and design teams with high-quality construction and engineering drawings. This role is a 50/50 mix of CAD/drafting and project coordination support. It is not a design engineer role but is essential in helping engineering teams succeed.
Key Responsibilities
CAD/Drafting (50%)

Create, revise, and maintain high-quality construction and engineering drawings using AutoCAD.

Translate complex designs into clear, accurate, and easy-to-read plans.

Support pre-engineering work to ensure drawings are practical and accessible for field teams.

Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Project Coordination (50%)

Attend project meetings to take notes, track timelines, and document action items.

Assist in tracking tasks, deliverables, and project milestones.

Support communication between engineering teams, field teams, and management.

Maintain project documentation, schedules, and updates.
Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in a CAD drafting or project coordination role.

Proficiency in AutoCAD required.

Strong civil/structural drafting skills preferred.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and balance technical and administrative tasks.

Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Experience in construction, civil, or geotechnical environments is a plus.
