Structural Engineer, PE
Location: Savannah GA, Kansas City MO, Appleton WI, or Salt Lake City UT

Pay: $120k – $150k

A growing engineering consultancy provides full-service engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCm) services to industrial process manufacturers across multiple sectors including pulp & paper, chemical, consumer products, food & beverage, power, and heavy industrial markets nationwide. What You’ll Be Doing

This individual will design structures capable of withstanding stresses and pressures resulting from human use and environmental conditions. Responsibilities include designing and configuring structures, overseeing drawing production, selecting appropriate foundation, building, and equipment support materials, inspecting construction work, and ensuring the structural integrity of foundations and facilities.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Prepare reports, design criteria, cost estimates, designs, and drawings

  • Perform calculations related to pressures, loads, and stresses

  • Provide technical guidance on safe structural design and construction

  • Obtain planning and/or building regulation approvals

  • Coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary professionals including architects and engineers

  • Monitor and inspect contractor work to ensure structural compliance and soundness

  • Administer small subcontracts and manage structural project scopes

  • Review geotechnical reports to evaluate site conditions and foundation requirements

  • Utilize computer-aided design software for modeling and simulation

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)

  • 3+ years of experience as a Structural Engineer

  • Experience in industrial structural engineering environments

  • Proficiency in STAAD, AutoCAD, and Revit

  • Experience with steel, concrete, and masonry design

  • Experience supporting heavy to light industrial projects

  • Familiarity with rotating equipment and vibration analysis

  • Advanced knowledge of construction methods, materials, and applicable regulations
