Pay Range: $100K – $110K salary
The architecture group provides technical leadership working closely across all engineering disciplines. This Architect consults clients on new building design, restoring and conserving old buildings and new ways to repurpose existing buildings. Will provide experienced direction on developing project programs and design and lead in the development of projects from preliminary through detailed construction documents.
Responsibilities
- Researches, programs, plans, designs, and administers building client projects applying knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing, construction procedures, zoning, building codes, building materials and systems
- Develops project scope, deliverables, assumptions, and estimates budget for proposals
- Prepares and presents design proposals to Clients
- Verifies discipline’s design is accurate and coordinated within the 3D model and/or site scans
- Supervises Designers and delegates project work
- Provides clear direction on project scope, schedule, budget and expectations of quality
- Inspecting sites and examining buildings to evaluate conditions
- Plans and programs layout of projects, coordinates and integrates engineering elements into a unified design for client review and approval
- Working knowledge of Building Codes
- Considers other disciplines and overall project requirements during the project lifecycle
- Participates in interactive planning sessions to ensure scope, schedule, costs and quality are aligned to project objectives and identifies and communicates scope change for discipline
Qualifications
- 5+ years architecture experience
- Architectural License required
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering or equivalent
- Working Knowledge of Revit
- Strong knowledge of general building systems functions and design
- Industrial, pharmaceutical or GMP environment experience preferred
- Strong knowledge construction materials, construction methods, and industry standards
- Experience in BIM modeling, Revit, AutoCAD and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC
- Knowledge of Presentation software: Photoshop, SketchUp, etc
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, etc.
- Excellent presentation and leadership skills
