Senior Talent Acquisition Recruiter

Pay Rate Range: $38.00 – $43.00 (DOE)
Summary: The primary functions of this position are to deliver a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers while leading the daily employment office functions.
Responsibilities:
- Sources, screens, and performs preliminary interviews on potential candidates.
- Coordinates site interviews with appropriate hiring manager to select qualified candidates for project specific requirements and make contingent employment offers based on federal/state law.
- Manages assigned employment requisitions to include but not limited to reviewing, editing, and final approval of completed requisition.
- Tracks and reports data on staffing plan processes using computer software programs that may include MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and other software databases.
- Assists in building and managing Employment Staffing Plans by entering information related to employment and hiring requirements.
- Builds and updates job descriptions based on project and scope of work.
- Coordinates and conducts re-deployment initiatives (proactive communication with employees prior to anticipated end date).
- Conducts operational and administrative portions of the hire process (background checks, drug screen, health screen, I9 compliance, E-Verify compliance, employment paperwork, site specific requirements).
- Serves as point of contact for portion of employment process for internal partners at the job site (Lead for processing or portion of recruiting efforts).
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with recent experience hiring engineering professionals within nuclear power industry.
- Must have direct experience recruiting for disciplines such as I&C, electrical, mechanical, and civil/structural engineering, with a focus on plant modifications, design engineering, and system upgrades.
- Proven ability to evaluate candidates against nuclear-specific requirements, including experience supporting design packages, field walkdowns, system ownership, and familiarity with NRC regulations and nuclear plant operations
- Experience recruiting for digital controls, legacy system upgrades, and instrumentation/control systems strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting project-based hiring where schedules, mobilization dates, site needs, and technical depth are critical.
- Proven ability to work independently as the sole engineering recruiter supporting business leaders and hiring managers.
- Strong sourcing experience with demonstrated success identifying and engaging passive candidates through multiple channels.
- High sense of urgency with strong follow-up, responsiveness, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder partnership skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn ATS systems quickly.
