Mechanical Engineer – Rotating Equipment

Pay Range: $50.00 – $95.00
SUMMARY: We are currently looking for a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our Mechanical Department for a temporary field assignment in Houston, TX. This is a great opportunity to get involved with exciting and challenging projects with long-lasting customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform inspections and diagnostic analysis of plant rotating equipment.
- Rotating equipment troubleshooting and repair coordination.
- Technical support for improving equipment performance.
- Working with operations personnel for troubleshooting and best practices for operability.
- Coordinate/assist with overall plant piping specifications development.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5-10 years of rotating equipment experience for industrial applications.
- “Hands-on” experience working with pumps, pump seal systems, blowers/fans, mixers, and compressors.
- Experience working with ASME and API Standards for rotating equipment and machinery.
- Experience with developing and understanding Piping Material Class Specifications.
