Pay Range: $95,000. – USD $118,000
Summary: We are seeking an Electrical Manager – Industrial Electrician, Journeyman to lead our electrical team in our manufacturing facilities for the energy, mining, industrial power markets, and Integrated bio-energy solutions. This leader must have the desire to perform quality work in a safe manner, be detail-oriented, and have superior customer focus with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and train an industrial electrical team on the manufacturing floor
- Interpret data from electrical diagrams and schematics and complete wiring of electrical systems.
- Assist team with mounting, wiring, and installing industrial electrical systems according to project drawings, requirements, and customer specifications while ensuring safe and efficient operation.
- Review drawings for project requirements and resources required.
- Complete inspections at various stages of production to ensure customer specifications are being met, and company quality standards are followed.
- Create a process checklist and coordinate quality inspections
- Assess production progress and report percentage completion for scheduling and tracking purposes.
- Cut, bend, and install conduit per electrical specifications.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with electrical codes.
Qualifications:
- 7-10+ years’ experience in a supervisory role within the industrial electrical field is required.
- Electrical journeyman certificate is required
- Ability to read engineering drawings, line and schematic drawings, and ladder logic
- Bluebeam or similar experience
- High Voltage AC and Low Voltage DC experience
- Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NCC)
- Ability to use Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel.
- Experience with hand-held tools and assembling parts..
- Valid driver’s license as well as an acceptable driving record is required.
