Job Title: Geotechnical Engineer – Ground Improvement

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Geotechnical Engineer with 2–5 years of experience to support the design and execution of ground improvement and foundation projects. This role involves working closely with project managers, field engineers, and design teams to deliver practical, cost-effective geotechnical solutions across a variety of project types and soil conditions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support geotechnical design and analysis for ground improvement projects such as vibro compaction, grouting, soil mixing, stone columns, and deep foundation systems.

  • Assist with site investigations, data collection, and interpretation of geotechnical and soil conditions.

  • Prepare technical calculations, design drawings, and engineering reports under the guidance of senior engineers.

  • Provide field support and collaborate with construction teams during project execution to ensure design intent and quality standards are met.

  • Conduct site visits to observe field conditions, collect data, and perform quality control checks.

  • Contribute technical input to project proposals, design concepts, and cost estimates.

  • Ensure all engineering activities comply with safety regulations, project specifications, and company standards.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering ( OR Civil degree only with min of 3-4 Geotechnical classes required).

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in geotechnical design, analysis, or construction support.

  • Strong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and ground improvement methods.

  • Familiarity with geotechnical design software (e.g., PLAXIS, L-Pile, Slope/W, Settle3D, or similar).

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in both office and field environments.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license not required.
