Pay Range: $55.00 – $60.00
Summary: We are seeking an I&C Engineer to work in Houston, TX. The Control Engineer is to support the design and execution of PLC-based control systems for modular process units. This role is focused on delivering turnkey control system designs and supporting project execution from concept through detailed engineering and integration.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain key I&C documents:
I/O Lists
Instrument Index
Control Narratives
Wiring and interconnection schematics
PLC Programming & Automation
Program and modify Allen-Bradley / Rockwell PLC systems
Maintain and troubleshoot existing automation systems
Design PLC architecture for new modular unit projects
Implement control logic, sequences, and control loops
Wiring diagrams
Loop diagrams
Panel layouts
Design:
Junction boxes
PLC cabinets
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Controls, or related) or equivalent experience
Strong hands-on experience with:
Allen-Bradley / Rockwell PLC systems
PLC programming and troubleshooting
Proven experience developing:
Control system documentation
Electrical and instrumentation design packages
Experience in industrial/process environments (oil & gas, chemicals, power, etc.)
