Summary
Self-driven individuals who will keep the warehouse organized and clean. Will be responsible for receiving, storing, moving, and distributing materials, managing inventory, ensuring warehouse organization/cleanliness, and handling shipping/receiving paperwork while following strict safety protocols.
HEAVY OVERTIME BEGINNING IN MARCH (see below)
Will be working 40 hours a week for the first several weeks
Beginning March 9th when the Turnaround starts, some will start a night shift
7-12’s with one day in 14 off
Duration of the job will be through end of April
Responsibilities
- Receiving & Storing: Unloading trucks, verifying shipments against orders, processing incoming goods, stocking materials in designated areas.
- Order Fulfillment: Picking, packing, and preparing materials for shipment according to production schedules or work orders.
- Inventory Management: Performing cycle counts, maintaining accurate stock levels, and conducting inventory audits.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keeping work areas clean, organized, and clear of hazards, including mixers or processing equipment.
- Documentation: Handling paperwork like packing slips, purchase orders, and bills of lading, ensuring data accuracy in computer systems.
- Safety Compliance: Adhering to all established safety regulations and procedures for handling industrial materials.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience.
- Strong organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Familiarity with inventory control and data entry.
- Able to safely lift 30-40 lbs, utilize a pallet jack
- High School Diploma or GED
