Project Manager – Water/Wastewater

Description: We’re looking for a project manager to lead some of the industry’s best engineers while executing highly technical, complex engineering water projects.
Responsibilities:
- Share ideas and boldly explore technical solutions and thought leadership.
- Bring outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills to lead project teams through challenging requirements and overlapping schedules.
- Be excited to coach and mentor other professionals to shape the leaders of tomorrow.
- Provide leadership and guidance on all aspects of multi-discipline engineering projects from concept to completion, including overall safety, quality, risk, engineering, procurement, construction, environmental compliance, and financials.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project(s) life cycle.
- Leverage existing client relationships, create new client relationships and focus on repeat work within each client account.
- Support business strategy for developing new business opportunities.
- Provide guidance and industry feedback or trends to the water leadership team.
- Provide mentorship as well as formal and informal training for the project team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related degree from accredited program required.
- Minimum of 7 years of related experience (15 years preferred) in design engineering.
- Previous consulting and project management experience preferred.
- Professional Registration in the state of Texas (ability to obtain Texas registration is acceptable).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Must be capable of devising new approaches to problems encountered.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding work environment, ability to work overtime on short notice.
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency using Microsoft Office
- Ability to work collaboratively with others (owners, contractors, engineers, designers) in a multi-disciplined project team environment to resolve design or drawing issues as appropriate and to accomplish objectives.
