Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer
Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid)
Job Type: Full-Time, Regular
Pay Rate: $145,000–$160,000 (maximum)
Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing and analyzing complex electrical systems, including medium voltage power distribution, renewable energy systems, and facility electrical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to advancing the firm’s technical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and analyze electrical systems, including power distribution, protection, renewable energy, communications, fire alarm, lighting, and security.

Perform power system studies, simulations, and calculations.

Conduct site reviews and update design requirements as needed.

Prepare technical documentation and contribute to industry publications.

Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and supervision to junior staff.

Represent the company at conferences and professional events.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, including medium voltage power distribution design (13.2–13.8 kV).

Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and related codes/standards.

Proficiency with CADD and power system analysis software (e.g., SKM, ETAP).

Experience with Revit.

Excellent communication and technical writing skills.

Must-Have Experience:

Projects in water, wastewater, industrial, federal, or transit facilities.

Hands-on experience with electrical design systems, pump stations, compressor stations, generators, and similar infrastructure.

Preparing proposals and working with project teams.
