Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic team working on design and construction projects across industrial, commercial, and municipal sectors. Responsibilities:

Create designs for power systems, including facility power distribution, renewable energy systems, and electrical protection models.

Conduct power system studies and electrical calculations, including lighting, communications, fire alarm, and security systems.

Develop technical documentation and white papers to support team knowledge and project delivery.

Perform site reviews to ensure design alignment with project requirements.

Collaborate with project teams to prepare proposals and ensure designs meet industry standards and regulations.

Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior staff.

Participate in conferences and industry events to enhance professional knowledge and team visibility.

Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related discipline (equivalent experience considered).

Professional Engineering (PE) license required (or ability to obtain within 12 months if licensed in another state).

7+ years of experience in electrical engineering, including design and project delivery.

Experience with medium- and low-voltage power distribution systems and complex electrical designs.

Familiarity with industry codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, NESC, IEEE, etc.).

Expertise in CADD 3D/4D software and design drafting practices.

Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

Ability to work effectively across all levels in a dynamic environment.

Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience designing electrical systems for industrial, municipal, or large-scale commercial projects.

Experience performing power system analyses using tools such as ETAP or SKM Power Tools.

Leadership experience, including mentoring or supervising junior engineers.
