- Title: Structural Project Engineer

- Will have the ability to work hybrid 3 days on site and 2 days off after ramp up period

We are seeking a Structural Project Engineer (PE) to lead single-discipline or small-to-medium multi-discipline engineering design teams through all project phases — from initial concept through successful completion. This role will manage the organization, coordination, and execution of design projects to ensure objectives are met in accordance with scope, budget, and schedule.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, and coordinate technical activities and project interfaces across disciplines.

Develop and monitor engineering schedules, budgets, and forecasts.

Apply technical knowledge to identify and resolve design challenges across structural disciplines.

Review project deliverables for compliance with engineering principles, standards, and specifications.

Assign team responsibilities and establish project scope and authority levels.

Prepare and maintain monthly project status reports; execute engineering change authorizations as needed.

Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to define project scope, develop estimates, and ensure successful execution.

Provide support on asset integrity and inspection-related projects as required.

Education, Experience, and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (required).

5+ years of structural engineering experience in a consulting or project-based environment.

Knowledge of contract management and liability issues.

Strong ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related engineering tools.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Physical Requirements

Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods.
-
Frequent walking, stair climbing, bending, kneeling, and use of hands for detailed work.

Occasional exposure to field or site conditions, including temperature variations and elevated noise levels.

May require travel to project sites or client locations.

Must maintain a valid driver’s license and appropriate insurance coverage.
