Survey Technician – Mid-Atlantic Region
Location: Mid-Atlantic Region (field-based, supporting regional projects)

Travel: Required; projects primarily within metro areas and broader Mid-Atlantic region

Position Overview
The Surveyor supports construction and geotechnical projects by performing accurate field layout, surveying, and as-built documentation. This role works closely with project managers, superintendents, and engineering teams to ensure survey data is accurate, timely, and aligned with project requirements. This role is travel heavy to sites 80% field & 20% office.

Key Responsibilities

Compute coordinates for use in field layout

Perform field layout and as-built surveys

Prepare detailed and accurate as-built documentation and reports

Coordinate with project managers and field leadership to support project execution

Analyze survey data and assist in resolving discrepancies

Review and cross-check shop drawings and contract drawings, including structural, architectural, and civil plans
Qualifications

Associate’s degree minimum in a technical or related field

2+ years of experience as a surveyor or in a similar role

Experience conducting fieldwork and preparing survey documentation

Proficiency with industry software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office

Ability to effectively operate survey equipment and related technology

Professional Land Surveying License preferred, but not required

Ability to travel extensively within the region as required
